Saskatchewan Flax Development Commission has been working for several years to develop our industry in ways that are sustainable economically, environmentally, and socially for years to come.

Two of the projects in this area include:

	Sustainability Visioning Project for the Canadian Flax Industry A cooperative strategy development project between SaskFlax, Natural Resources Canada and NAFGEN (Natural Ag-Fibers Green Economy Network)
	AEGP on Flax Straw Management The Agri-Environmental Group Plan was a joint project with Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada and Saskatchewan Agriculture on managing flax straw for improved air quality.
