Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada has released the May report for Canada: Outlook for Principal Field Crops. The estimated exports for 2019/20 have decreased to 350,000 tonnes. The seeded area for flax is forecast to be 380,000 hectares and result in a production of 530,000 tonnes. Exports in 2020 are expected to be strong for Canadian flax.
